In addition to being a proud board member of The Thanks-Giving Foundation, I’m an executive board member of the Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts. I serve as chair of the North Texas Public Broadcasting Corporation (KERA and KXT) and incoming chair of Dallas Theater Center, and I’m a board member of Big Thought and Global Fund for Children.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in journalism from Southern Methodist University. After that, I went on to earn my JD degree, which led me to a 28-year career as an attorney.

My husband Peter and I have been married for 32 years and have two beautiful children, Hayley and Will.
